SDG's Combilo
Sustainable Development Goals
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) were set by the United Nations in 2015. It's an action plan for changes and transformations of the world in which the needs of the present generation can be met in a sustainable manner, with respect for the environment and taking into account the needs of future generations.
At Combilo we believe it is important that we have a positive impact on our planet & our people. As a relevant player in greenhouse vegetable production, processing & distribution, we have an (in)direct influence on what ends up on the consumer's plate every day.
As a starting point for our sustainability policy, Combilo has chosen 3 SDGs that match our mission and on which we can make an impact.
3. Good Health and well-being
Promoting health and well-being of consumers and employees.
9. Industry, innovation and infrastructure
Focusing on making work processes more sustainable in order to reduce our CO2 footprint.
12. Responsible consumption and production
Together with our partners, we strive for responsible production with people and the environment in mind.
Three selected Sustainability Goals, along with our ISO 14001 certification and Ecovadis Sustainability Assessment, provide guidance and continuous improvement to our sustainability performance. The full sustainability plan can be obtained at contact@combilo.nl or more information via QA@combilo.nl.
